Delapré Abbey is going through an exciting period this year with the long anticipated start of the Abbey’s refurbishment well under way. Friends of Delapre Abbey is working with Northampton Borough Council and Delapre Abbey Trust.  The Friends of Delapre Abbey represent views of the community with regards to the Abbey and Park and communicates those views to Northampton Borough Council and Delapré Abbey Preservation Trust. We also take part in community events and organise our own events to raise the profile of the Abbey as well as raise funds for particular purposes.

Friends of Delapre Abbey Ltd. is a charity limited by guarantee and is governed by a board of directors. All directors/trustees are volunteers. They attend regular Board meetings as well as giving their time to carry out a particular role for the Friends of Delapre Abbey.
