Without members there would be no Friends of Delapré Abbey - and in the past, without the efforts of members, we may not have had a Delapré Abbey today.

 

These are exciting times for Delapré Abbey. Northampton Borough Council and Delapré Abbey Preservation Trust are overseeing the restoration of the Abbey following the award of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant in October 2013. The Friends of Delapre Abbey worked with them to develop that successful bid. The Abbey is due to open to the public in July 2016. Through your membership we can continue to work with NBC and DAPT to ensure that the restoration and the developing visitor offer is in keeping with the wishes of the community.
